The students of Home Economics College, Azimpur which is an affiliate college of the University of Dhaka are demanding their college to establish as a separate institute of the University. Demanding that they are now blocking the roads of Nilkhet-Newmarket area. This time they are serious about their demand as they have made a one-going movement. But, it is creating a heavy public hazards as they have blocked the important roads for them. There are two Girls' halls of the University of Dhaka are situated on the back side of new markets. So, these students are being most sufferers. They have claimed that these girls of Home Economics College are blocking and hindering them to go to the campus and to return to their resident halls.
This issues are now the hottest topic of discussions in the University area. The general students of DU are claiming that this movement and their demand are totally illogical. The students of the University of Dhaka are selected by the highest competition, and they get the chances only on the basis of their merit. So, if a student who wants to become a student of the University must compete in the admission test, and show his/her merit. Any kind of movement and blocking of the roads cannot be a way to be a student of the University of Dhaka.
