First Person, Second Person and Third Person

Hi,
How are you?

Now, you may know that-
There are three types of persons. They are-
1) First Person
2) Second Person
3) Third Person

Here, 'I' and 'we' are first persons.
'You' is the second person.
And the other subjects will be the third persons such as it, he, they, that... etc.

So, we can now understand that persons may be singular or plural.
Singular means only one in number. for example I, here i means a single person. The boy means only a boy. So, these are singular numbers.

Plural is more than one. For example 'we', It means I, you and he or they etc. So, it means more than one. The boys means more than one boy. We usually use s or es after plural nouns. See-
Student == students
Girl == girls
Cow == Cows
Book == Books

Subject' singular number or plural number is very importance in a sense. Because, verbs are used on the basis of the number of the subjects. See--
The boy is playing. (singular)

The boys are playing. (Plural)

( see that verbs changed with the change of number. 'is' is used for singular, and 'are' for plural. )

The boy likes playing. (singular)

The boys like playing. (plural)

(see that 's' has been used with verb when it was third person singular number.)

So, remember that 's' or 'es' is added with verb word for the third person singular numbers in present indefinite tense. For example,

He likes writing.
It seems clear.
She looks beautiful.
The man sings well.

Now, are persons only subject? No, persons can be object and possessive also. See the chart in the photo. Learn carefully the right forms of persons.

Don't mess with subject or object form.

Subject forms are used only in subject positions. see-
I
We
He
It
I love sports.
We know them.
He eats more.
It is a new watch.

Objects are used only in object positions, and after prepositions.
I know him.
He helped them.
She likes me.

(see here 'him', 'them', and 'me' are object form. So, they have been used in object position.)

You cannot write subject word in the object position. For example,
Incorrect: I know he.
Correct: I know him.
Incorrect: He informed I.
Correct: He informed me.
Incorrect: I love she.
Correct: I love her.
After preposition only object form is used. Do not use subject form after preposition. Examples,
Incorrect: He talked to I.
correct: He talked to me.
Incorrect: I danced with she.
correct: I danced with her.
Incorrect: I am a neighbour of he.
Correct: I am a neighbor of him.

Note: 'You' is exceptional. Because both subject form and object form for 'you' is 'you'.

You are right. (subject is you)
I know you. (object is you)

Now, I am giving you two tasks.

First, read the chart in the picture nicely and remember always.

Second, correct the sentences.
1) Me with my girlfriend captured a selfie. (correct or incorrect??)
2) I told her that her should help me. (correct or incorrect???
3) We were discussing about she.
4) She with go with I.

N.B.: The object form of 'be' is subject form actually. See-
It is she.
This is I.
(We incorrectly write "it is me". But, correct is "it is I"
Thank you very much. :) :)
